I have an 18x24 cutting mat. There was a 24x36 on sale at my LQS, so I grabbed it (when I was in there to get the FMQ foot that they STILL don't have! Back order schmack order *hmpfff* ). Just got home and went to put it on my cutting table...to find that my table is too small! Oops!! Hubby won't mind if I take the dining table to the basement, right?? ;) Kidding, I do have a bigger table down there...guess I have some rearranging to do!

I have one on my cutting table that I had to "trim to fit". I bought the cutting table after the mat. Oh well. It works ok for me. And the mat was a LOT cheaper than the table!

oops! Sounds like something I'd do. Good luck with sorting it out.

That sounds like something I do. But if it was a good buy it's worth moving things around.

I always appropriate the dining room table when I lay anything out. I won't be cooking while I'm doing it so it's put to good use.
