Default Oops! I did it again...

Had to go get some blood work done this morning for an upcoming dr's appointment and stopped at Walmart on the way home. When will I learn to just quickly go around the fabric dept? Walmart is discontinueing all their fabric on bolts and will just carry the prepackaged ones. So many of the Waverly solids were now discontinued. At my store they were $1.50 a yard!! Print fabrics I have by the boat load, and lots of creams and whites, and beige. Other solid colors I have very few of.
So I may have spent $30 total for maybe 18 yds. Not too bad when I think about what a jelly roll or layer cake cost these days. Now I have to find somewhere to put it, until I can make up some kits.

I like the precut packages of one yard. Perfect to grab three of them for the Three Yard Quilt patterns. I have a placemats made from Waverly cotton fabric and they have been washed many many times and still look good so I know the simple quits I make using it will look good for a long time. I'll go check out the bolt sale today at the local Walmart.

Wish they would do that at my store. It's so hard to find someone to help. I certainly understand going to precuts. Love the Waverly solids there.
