    That's what I was concerned about too. It sounds like a magic stuff that I will start using as batting shrinks when washed, and I ended up not using anything at all.

    They are gorgeous! If the squares were six inches or larger I'd say do a cross hatch, but you have done a terrific job.

    I think they are great placemats, and you have done more than enough quilting for a placemat. Great idea for placemats.

    It looks perfect just the way it is. With Stiff Stuff, you don't have to worry about closer spacing. What a nice way to commemorate your trips together!

    Cute, cute lobster fabric. I find that too much quilting on a placemat puts my wine glass in jeopardy. Just saying . . .
