I agree. Don't start over. Keep going. Make it your own!

It's beautiful, I'd just keep mixing the same colors you have already used in the big blocks in the small blocks. I love how the small ones look mixed in. It's a great touch. I agree with adding in some white strips here and there for balance.

I say go with it. A quilt that has not been improvised is....well, I have no experience in quilts that turned out according to plan, so I don't know. It's part of the journey! Your quilt has pushed you outside of the box! Go with it! I think it's gorgeous so far!

I think you should continue. with babies, the more color and movement in the quilt, the better.

I would keep going. Maybe sashing would help. Blocks are lovely.

The block to the right are extras to be switched in if you think necessary. DD (auntie-to-be) and I sorta like this arrangement. Pattern is called "Modern Mix".
I have to make more small blocks. What colours should I bring out more?
The baby's room is brown/neutral AND I need to get the quilt finished!
By the way the colours are based on DD's/mommy-to-be's wedding bouquet!

Suzzy, I would continue on and add more blue green's and shades or purple that you already have in the blocks. This pattern can easily be added to with thin stripes wherever needed to make all sqaures the same size. These are great colors to stimulate a babies mind, hand and eye development. Can't wait to see the finsihed project.

Continue on. Maybe add more of the dark color that is in the lower left block of the second picture to balance it out and the white suggestion is good also. I am sure this quilt will be well loved.
