The one I picked up is like this one at: http://www.sewingmachinecabinets.com/regalr12.html
believe it or not, they were at our local walmarts a few years ago and I bought mine for about $170 and love it. The open places have stacked clear drawers now:)LOL It would fold down to a taller table to put a lamp on...just showing what other options are out there. If I had the perfect table to cut from, I think I would prob opt for a kitchen counter w/bar area:)Good luck w/the fun of shopping for one! Skeat

One of the things people don't think about is: There are industry measurements for these things. Table heights the same, kitchen cabinets the same height, and bathroom cabinets ... the tables and cabinets may differ in heights, but like items share the same height measurement.
I am thinking though that bathroom cabinets are a different height from kitchen heights ... hmmm ... <g> Maybe I will measure that some time.

I love it. I have two. Use one as a ironing board. They make ironing board cover for it. It stays up all the time. The other one I use for cutting or laying out designs. Its great because it folds up nicely.

Also the roller feet have plastic inserted into the metal legs, and one of these snapped off, so it does have its vulnerable parts. I have seen similar tables that have storage shelves underneath the middle part, that look more sturdy.
Having said that, the convenience of such a large surface is well worth the price, especially the sale price you quoted, and the fold up feature for storage is great.
I'm 5ft 5 in and the height is perfect for me.
I love mine.

Hope this helps. And I paid more for mine. If you don't like it, you can always sell it. I don't think you will find another one like this for that price.
