I think I might use a white inner border to give the stars more of an effect of "floating". The red is ok, but I think the blue just gets absorbed into the pieced border. Love the stars !

I'm glad you decided to go with the navy border. Looks great. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the piano key border! Makes the quilt, in my opinion!
