Opinions Needed
I am making a wall-hanging for a swap. (This will be my first swap on the Quilting Board.) I am on the fence about the outer border that I want to use. Keep in mind that the black polka-dot material is the inner border all the way around the yellow background fabric. Since the company that produced the pattern is out of business, it is impossible to get the original fabric. I have looked high and low trying to find something that mimics that fabric. I have purchased three different fabrics, and have not been completely happy with any of them, however, the fabric in the photo is the best choice of those three. At first I thought I might use the wrong side of the fabric because it is lighter and the colors and their hues more closely resemble the original pattern photo. Now I am thinking that the right side of the fabric is the best choice. To be clear, when you look at the wall hanging, the right side of the fabric is bordering three sides. The strip showing the wrong side is bordering the side on the left. What do you think?

Thank you to all you who gave me your opinion. It's funny, but until I saw the whole thing put together, I thought the wrong side of the fabric was the right choice. But now it is clear to me that the right side looks better. Thanks for helping me to make up my mind.
