I prefer the balance of having the pinwheels on all 4 sides - I think it looks great!!! C9P

You could go with a border around the pinwheels on top and bottom and sides, then add 4 cornerstone pinwheels - something different.

I like it best with the pinwheels going down the side but I gotta say, I really like the way it looks with just the 3 sides done!
I agree! The off-center look is adorable! I'd add a thin border of purple (say 1" or 1 1/2") all around and bind it with black. I LOVE it!

Your Quilt is so great and so fitting for its recipient. I love all of it, but especially the little tiger in the carriage. Sure would like to know how you did that! I can't offer wise and experienced advice, but would like to say: Please Show it to us when you do get it finished!

The quilt is for a baby - right? They LOVE busy and I don't think this one is "too busy" by any means! It is so CUTE!!!

I vote going down the left side!

To balance - on the right side - I would use the colours of the pinwheel in long strips, in graduating widths, for a finished look.
