    I'd say keep it as it seems to work well with the green fabric, and the blue/red/green fabrics are all about the same intensity, so I'd say it works.

    Yes, I like the green as is. Can't wait to see your finished quilt! I took a look at that Toni Whitney heron pattern you mentioned- it's fabulous.
