I like # 1. It is striking with the dragonflies dancing in the center as a focus point and the snail trail blocks mimic the flight of the DF. Very nice and love that fabric. Post as you go with whatever you choose!

Not so much with the 1/4" seam, I have the "add a quarter" ruler which I think is a requirement for paper piecing. However, because all the pieces were on an angle, I had problems with the fabric patch actually covering the area it was supposed to. The block was pieced in 4 PP sections. I did all the same ones of each section so once I figured out which way the patch was supposed to be positioned, I was able to immediately repeat it 5 more times.
BTW, I'm Nancy, but you're not the first person on the board to call me Marjorie. Don't know why...

For others, I do have enough for border and back on the dragonfly so will probably do that in whichever one I pick. I did make changes noted earlier to option one.

What a hard decision you have, I really love the drama of the first one and I like the second one as well, the third one looks a little to busy to me, I think the other two make the dragon flies more dramatic.

I really like the first one (errors fixed) The monkey wrench has more of a contemporary look than the other two-they seem more traditional. That lovely fabric just doesn't say 'traditional' to me. I hope you can incorporate a section of the fabric into borders or the back to showcase it's beauty and the source of your inspiration. Happy quilting!
