I don't have a cat...but I have Chip! (of silk thread chewing fame!)

She says that they're made of silicone...and I'm thinking that I can go down to Home Depot and find something that will work as well, cut it and use that for the same purpose. I DO like the concept!

That's what I thought. You might want to pick up a few ear plugs and see if they work... they might not be as dense as those, but worth a try.

I haven't felt a need for such a product. I'm fine using safety pins. I didn't check the price, although some of you thought it was high. These remind me of foam earplugs, which can be purchased in bulk at my local supermarket. They would accomplish the same thing, possibly at lower cost.

Why don't we use mini-marshmallows instead and eat them as we quilt. Yeah...that's the ticket!! LOL

(Sorry Marsye, just now read your post)

Not for me - they look like foam earplugs. I don't mind an occasional pin prick.

Interesting idea, but I use hundreds of safety pins to pin baste...at $20 for 50...way to expensive to give it a real try.

I do like the idea of using them to find your hand sewing needles.

$20 for 50! To rich for my blood, but I do like the concept.

Looks like a great product, IF you still pin your sandwich layers before quilting. Since I have not pinned, only spray basted, for several years now I have no use for them. Looks much more practical and easy than safety pins.
