What a lovely quilt. The colours work so well together. Whatever suggestion you go with re the length it will still look just as lovely.

If you look at the bedskirt, that gives you an idea of what a wider border would look like. It's beautiful!

If you scoot the bottom down so that the sheet can fold over it like a cuff (right in front of the pillow), it should look perfect. I make all of them that way, so that the user doesn't have a thick flap of quilt folded down around the top. Also, the quilt doesn't rub on itself all night that way.

    hugs,
    Charlotte

Hate to mess you up, but it looks great to me just the way it is. You did a terrific job! However, if you really have your heart set on a rectangle, the borders on the end only suggestion should work fine.

I'm not thinking I'd like a border. I like Quiltngolfer's idea of making pillow cases if you feel the need for this to be bigger I think that would be the way to go. I'm not a big fan of borders on LC's anyway (just my opinion) and I'm afraid if you add them it will look like an afterthought. But, as my kids are quick to point out "what do I know"? By the way - I forgot to tell you it's beautiful!
