I have been posting a lot of drawings to try to illustrate things.

I know they are not as nice looking as the EQ illustrations.

Are these drawings helpful, even if they are comparatively crude?

Will you list the posts where they are? I think any drawing is helpful.

I think quilters in general are visual people. I'm sure drawings will help to explain to anyone here. I always find myself drawing when trying to explain too. Even the simplest scratches make sense to another quilter.

I've found them helpful, bear. In fact, after looking at some of them, I got out my graph paper and was able to reduce a pattern I had to use on a garment. With the graph paper, I knew exactly what size to cut each piece. Your drawings were helpful to me!

I appreciate when anyone takes the time to illustrate a block or pattern whether using software or by hand.

I do not value one over the other.

Crude works for me. I don't have EQ, so anything that helps me out, I'm all for it !! Thanks for sharing

    I enjoy seeing the drawings.
I also make a lot of crude drawings for blocks, quit patterns etc.
