    Yes ! That works, especially if you have a 60* ruler to help you....You can make your own pattern. Just try it until it fits, using a schookids protractor for math ...
    remember the angles of an equal sided triangle are 60*!

    I am thinking if you wanted to you could fill the spaces between the star points with triangles, same size as your points, but lay them on their side??? Seems to me like that would be the same angle you would need on any set in piece you use between the star points. If this isn't right, someone please jump in and say so!
