Do you know someone from Russia who could translate it for you? I just wondered because we have several adults in my local area who are Russian and are able to make make visits back home every so often.

I tried a translation site (I think) and I couldn't get it to work. So I googled it and I came up with this: The Quilt Show-WebTV for Quilters and Worldwide Quilt Community. They have a forum and someone had a similar problem that was about a knitting pattern in Russian. I have seen the names Alex Anderson Ricky Tims talked about in here so I thought maybe someone in here might just be a member of the site (since it is a quilting site and forum too) and could ask if anyone on there could help translate it. I hope I am making sense. The link is below. Hope you all will share the results if it gets translated.

If you've made a log cabin quilt, and if you've ever done paper-piecing, I don't think a translation is necessary. The pattern itself is pretty simple, despite looking so complicated.

Here's a good Russian to English translation site: http://imtranslator.net/translation/...h/translation/

I use IMTranslator to talk to my friends in the Czech Republic, and it works well because it not only translates, but it gives you a back translation. Try it!

How about Floating Stars. I have made it several times and love it. The pattern is in Quilter's Cache under a 12" block. I don't think you need a translation for it either.

WOW! that pattern is quite psychedelic!!!!!!!! Try Google Translations... http://translate.google.com/ ...it may help, at least a little.
    Good luck!
