Which ones do you buy for your Sweet 16 sit down machine?

Hi Linda,

I buy Groz Beckert needles, usually size 16 or 18. They should be marked R. I order mine from Sewing Machines Plus or from eBay seller ngosew.

I've only used Organ needles in my DSM.

There is a needle co-op on yahoo groups and they do bulk needle buys. They only do Organ and I've had wonderful success with them. Search Yahoo groups for needlecoop. Their next buy is early January so there's not too long to wait.
You'll get 100 and never have to buy them again lol

Capri, what numbers do you order?
In the Wawak catalog they have things like 135x5 and Dpx7 etc.

Linda, there are some marked "R" and others marked "MR". The Sweet Sixteen needs just the "R" ones.

I agree all the numbers are confusing. Here's a photo of my Groz Beckert needle packages. The size is on the righthand side of the second line. I paid $35 for 100 needles from the eBay seller mentioned earlier.
