    Default Organ needles

How do Organ needles compare to the Schmetz needles. I use the S needles but the Organs are far less expensive and I was wondering if it is worth it to change over. I have never ever used an Organ needle. Thank you.

I went on the jhittlesewing.com website and bought 100 organ needles for less than $20. and I love them. I have Janome machines and they are working fine. I bought size 11. I had used them in the past and then cold not find where to buy more until I found this site. Good Luck.

My Janome dealer recommended Schmetz needles for my 6600 sewing machine, and Organ for my 350e embroidery machine. I bought 100 Schmetz from jhittle and 100 Organ from allbrands. (They had the best prices.) So I have a supply of needles to last for a while. I've had wonderful luck with both machines, so I'm glad I took her advice.

I use Organ needles in all of my new machines (janome, kenmore, etc.) and all of my old machines (fw, singers, etc.) and they do just fine. Also use them on my HQ. Have used Schmetz, Singer and Kenmore needles and found no real difference in how they perform.

I am using Schmetz sizes 11 -16 in all my machines and have had no troubles with them. Have not tried Organ needles.

When my dealer started selling Organ needles, I tried them and found no discernible difference from Schmetz. I now use whatever my fingers light upon when changing the needle. I shop for price....bargain hunting is an old family tradition!
