I keep my bobbins in a clear plastic box according to color and weight. My thread spools are in drawers of an old nightstand I got at Goodwill, they are arranged according to color and weight. When I'm ready for a project I match the two and off I go. I' love to do the rack, but space won't permit it. So far my system has worked so I'm in the "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." mode.

I just didn't roll them up right. If I do none escapes.

I have a wooden thread rack and put a straw over one of the dowels, it will hold several spools and/or bobbins which keep the threads together.

I bought a package of the cheapest golf tees. Put the bobbin on top of the spool and put a golf tee through the hole down into the spool. Will send photo tomorrow from PC.

I keep the bobbin & spool together in a snack size zip lock bag. I also have a tackle box the spool & bobbins fit in the same area.

I have used pre-wound bobbins in all my machine so I don't have to worry about the right bobbin for the right machine.

Exactly how I do it AND I can still keep them both on my thread racks.
Wow I tried that and it works really good.

I purchased 100 bobbins on Amazon for my machine then 200 plastic ziptop bags at Wal Mart I fill the bobbin and put the thread and the bobbin in a bag that way it is all together when I need it. Works for me.

I have used knitting stitch holders. Theyare lightweight (aluminum) and some in several sizes. It makes it easy to see the colors (even with those pink bobbin buddies) and they are kept from rolling all over the place.
