Sending hubby to the big barn to get those filing cabinets this morning. And I am making room for them in my room. I am goign to put acid free paper in the files too. But my fabrics usually get used fast. So happy you posted this.

I have an old file cabinet. I am going to go dig it out. Thank you for the suggestion.

If you paint your metal file cabinet - use Rustoleum (sp) it comes in lots of colors - it paints and primes at the same time. Prevents rust - covers beautifully

I use filing cabinets, but I have wound the fabric on boards gotten free from JoAnns. They fit perfectly in a legal size filing cabinet. However, I like the idea of using the pendaflex folders and I have a ton of those. Hello re-reorganization. Thanks for sharing.

That is a wonderful idea. One of my quilting sisters that has been wanting to clean her quilt room has some file cabinets. I have offered my services to help but, it's been 2 years since I offered and she keeps putting it off. I sent her the photos in hopes of a little push!!
