These are always fun, not super involved, and not a huge fabric commitment...next one starts soon...

Charlotte Hawkes just announced a new mystery quilt that starts on January 8th and is free. Here is the link to here website . I think you can sign up for e-mail notifications she does not post to often mainly just her mystery updates and clues. She does have a facebook page and you can see some of her past mysteries that people have posted pictures of. This mystery is called " A Handy Dandy Scrap Quilt" she released the precutting instructions. Quilt is 60 x 82 without border and with a border 80 x 97.

This might be overkill but I’ve been collecting these to pass on to my guild, so I’ve got a several I can add:
For Christmas, starting Dec 3rd-13th is Quilt Art Designs is Twas the Night before Christmas-9 blocks, these are paper piecing. They patterns are free for 1 day. She's in a different time zone, so you need to take that into account or you'll miss one. https://quiltartdesigns.blogspot.com
Other's starting in January:
Quilt Art Design: paper piecing 24 months “Amazing and Odd Animal Alphabet” https://quiltartdesigns.blogspot.com
Adventurous Quilter has 2 paper piecing starting: “Kitchenalia Adventures” and “Daybreak at the Barn” https://adventurousquilter.yolasite.com/
Fandom in Stitches in Jan. starts “Star Trek Row Along”. It’s weekly paper piecing project. http://www.fandominstitches.com/
Piecing the Past is starting “Delft Blue” it’s weekly and mostly applique. http://www.piecingthepastquilts.com/delft-blue-bow
Quilt Doodle Designs has a monthly starting in Jan. “Garden Sunshine” https://quiltdoodledesigns.blogspot.com/
Ms. P. Designs has a monthly starting in Jan. “Elephants” (applique) https://mspdesignsusa.com/
And lastly Pat Slone has 2 starting in Jan. 1 weekly and 1 monthly. They are “A Flower Bouquet” and “Out of this World” https://www.ilovetomakequilts.com/
Something to mention, I'm all about the free patterns too, but we should all keep in mind that it takes time, money and work to offer these. So if you do some of them, take time to browse their site and pick a up a pattern during the year (if you can). Or at the very least, leave something in the comments to thank them for their generosity.
Ok, all done and jumping off my soap box!
