    Default Ott Lights

Are the Ott Lights worth the added expense?

In my opinion, they are. I got a generic version of one based on some recommendations from others and I don't like it. I had to duct tape it together where it's supposed to screw neatly together and it droops where it's supposed to stay put. My ott lights work just like they're supposed to.

I like my ott light. I can put it right where I need the extra light at the sewing machine, and see without a shadow.

I have three as I do not have good lighting in spots. I have a tall one, a medium one and a table one that I put with light behind my sewing machine. It's like heaven. (course I am over 21). Don't pay full price...use a joann's coupon and get 40 to 50% off. I could not have afforded it otherwise .

I have 3 and love them. I bought 1 at the high price but got the other 2 at "great" discounted prices. Keep your eye out for the sales and don't forget the coupons.

I can tell they are worth it. At our guild retreat my ott lamp next to the other brands of lamps is much better light. Everyone can see the difference. The other brands give out good light just not like an Ott light.

Yes. . I even have a purse size one that I take to quilt shops. It's amazing the lack of natural light in most shops, although I appreciate the fact that sunlight does fade fabrics.

I like mine . I have 4 that I got at Hancock Fabrics on New Years Day sale last year. They were 7.99 (reg. 59.99).
I needed a new light bulb for one of them. It was reg. 32.00. Thank goodness it was on sale for 50 % off.

They are if you get a flexible base. I have 3 of them two are floor lamps for reading. One is for sewing. If you check their website and J's, they go on sale often or you can use a J's coupon. I love them.
