Has anyone got this light? I can't find if it is battery operated or plug. I like the idea of the design but the price almost tells me that it may not be all I want it to be.

"Portable" says battery-operated to me. What it doesn't say is the wattage - and that's the most important.

I think its battery operated too. It doesn't show a cord in the picture so that right there tells me batteries plus it says its portable.

Really cool. But I fear I would burn through the batteries quickly.

opened the box - it takes three AAA batteries! I will ask the woman who demonstrated fm on her domestic if it goes through a lot of batteries.

Thank you for the info! I would burn through three batteries each sewing session. I would like one that can be plugged. It looks like a neat design.

the woman who recommended getting it has done amazing fm quilting on her domestic machine!!! She is amazing to watch. She demonstrated how you dont need a long arm to get the fancy stitches. Her quilts have won first prizes in many shows.
