My DH just retired from many years of being a Scoutmaster, then his toys were all kinds of camping gear. Now he DEFINITELY needs a new hobby!

My husband loves books and reading. His favorite hangout is the library. I'm guessing we might be the only people who have bookshelves in our bathrooms. He loves to go the the book sales at the library. They sell entire bags for $.50. He can't resist.

A while back we made an agreement. No fabric for me and no books for him. I felt pretty guilty sneaking my fabric in the house when he was at work. One day I went out to the trunk of his car to get something and the entire trunk was full of books he was trying to sneak into the house. So not worth getting upset over. He does the cooking, the grocery shopping and the laundry. I can't complain.

My DH has tools, tools and more tools like 30 routers and that,s just a good start. He woodturns bowls and builds beautiful custom furniture. He also collects egg separators and we are both avid pottery collectors.

my hubby has a boat and has had it since 1977. He has poured $$$$ into it for the last 33 yrs. He also has all the fishing gear to go on it, so I don't feel bad about my stash and sewing "toys".

My DH has 2 tractors that he is working on refurbishing, and he has a woodworking "warehouse" (he collects wood like I collect fabric!).

Outdoor sports for my DH. Fishing includes the required bass boat, rods, reels, tent, etc. Then we dove hunt once a year which thankfully is the only hunting he does because the cost of the "lease" and ammunition is rediculous. Let's see...then there is the annual family vacation that MUST be on the beach so he can dive. This means cost of dive suits, fins, diving fee, etc. Hmm...oh.....snow skiing but he hasn't bought new skis in a while. I think the only other toy is his Kayak...yeah see...it is cheaper to buy one than rent one once a year....uh-huh...yeah right...LOL :D

Mine has an antique john deere tractor that he's supposed to fix up. He's looking at getting a different one. The difference, however, is that once he gets it fixed it's not really a toy-he'll use it for actual farming. lol. He does not like sports, car racing, golfing, fishing, hunting, or any of the other things normal men like. He has no real hobbies.
