What a perfect description. They do make my heart sing! And speaking of singing and Africa, if you haven't heard of "Playing for Change", you should check this out. It is a group of people spreading love and peace throughout the world using music.

Excellent! Those fabrics can be challenging to use, being large scale and geometric. Love it!

You've done an amazing job and so has your son. I'm glad he has a lasting reminder of his time in Africa.

I love your design! It just makes the fabric "sing", as others have said. Good job!

    Design compliments the fabric beautifully.

Oh my@! That pattern does showcase the fabrics well.

Even more importantly, great job training your son to buy you fabric! :) :) :)

I love the prints and colors. I've made two wave quilts using african print fabrics. A former co-worker sent me fabric from her homeland in Tanzania, I can't wait to use it.
