When I first joined this board I was reading everthing and got SO much how-to info and links. Now it seems that a lot of the posts are repeats of previous posts. Now I skim through the topics and ususaly read how to questions/need help. some are new/different and others are same as past. Maybe to make it easier on readers topics should be searched for info before new post is listed.

Yes, many of the posts ARE repeat questions. Since I have been here for quite awhile, if I have a question, I know to go to the search section and look through the posts and answers. Though I have to admit, I didn't understand what search was when I first joined. Wonder if there is some sort of 'intro tutorial' when one signs up that would explain all of the Board features?

I'm so afraid I'm going to miss something but I really love being here. For me it's very relaxing and always lots of fun :D

I'll say one thing....I'm not watching TV. What can you learn there  Yes, I noticed some repeats, but most of those are newbies, so they don't know we have hashed and rehashed most topics. Remember, we were all newbies at one time. And there are still places I have not visited. Someday....Now to get to that last gift to make...Wait a minute, I think there was a topic about....let me just check that...oh where was it???

I am with you. So much time taken to read the board I don't have time to do half of what I want to do. My "list" is growing everyday thanks to this board. LOL!!

This board is the highlight of my day. I can't wait to get on after I get home ffrom work. I seem to spend more time here than quilting, but, I have learned so much from all the posts, so I'll keep coming back.

I am definitely in the same boat. I joined only a few weeks ago, but find myself spending lots of time here. As well as reading the posts on the board, I've found tons and tons of other links and resources that NEED to be checked out, which invariably lead to more links and more links.

Another project I now have is to go throug all my quilting favorites and get them into my Delicious data so I can have them better organized. And I was worried about being bored when I retired!

I have to say, though, this site and GREAT!
