Hi quilts friends! I joined this forum a while back, but really didn't start exploring much until recently. For now, I'm just trying to drink it all in, not getting much quilting done. 😉 I used to love block swaps, and even hosted several when the WWQP was active. Now, I think I'd like to just take it a bit slow and do some short-term mystery quilts, or block swaps. I see some already in progress, but is there a place I should be looking for upcoming "Train Rides" or swaps? Maybe even a quilt along would be great! I'd like to see what's coming up so I can start at the beginning, or at least close to it. It's way too late in the year for me to start one that began in January. ID never catch up! Lol
Where are they announced, or are most of them posted when they begin?

Welcome back! If you go to the home page and scroll down, you'll see different threads for different swaps, etc. just check them out and see which works for you.

I saw lots with appeal...is there any place where they are announced before they start?

If you view the QB through the Archives [see menu at bottom of page] you will always see all of the posts when they are brand new

look for 14 mystery train ride. It has just finished, but near the end of the thread she announces when she is starting 15. (it will be soon)

Thanks for the help. I'm poking around and found a few things I hadn't seen before.
