I didn't know that they ever considered another place other than the Executive Inn (where it was this year). But let me know!!!! I was there too and I had so much fun and spent too much money and couldn't move for 2 days after I got home....

Last year it wasn't as good to me as the previous years. The quilts were were awesome but not enough variety as before. Most were scenic or picture quilts. Way to0 many for my taste. Not many traditional pieced block quilts at all. I mostly bought fat quarters and new quilting tools. I love the demos at the vendor booths but very few of those this last year compared to before. Hancocks did not have as full a backroom as before but the store itself is quilt heaven. My DDs and went with me one time and they were bored after the first day, kept wanting me to take them here and there, someplace else. URRR! DH went one time and kept saying aren't you tired? Are you ready to go? I'm hot, my feet hurt, the lines are too long. I'm ready to eat. Double URRRR!!. I'll go this next year and looking forward to it. I now go without family, they aren't invited to go. :P

The Executive Inn has always been where it has been, but it was for sale and I had several vendors tell me that they had not gotten a confirmation on their booth spaces because it was undecided on the sale of the building. I will try and put a call in to the AQS and see what I can find out. I will post what I find out.
