I ordered 7 yards of flannel from Paducah last week after realizing just how bad Jo-Ann Fabric flannel was after a few washings. I was sent 7 yards of the wrong fabric, called them and after the lady chose one similar to the one I ordered, she told me she would send it out today and I could keep the wrong one. I promised her I would use it only on charity quilts and she said that is what they would prefer. I say "Kudos to Paducah." I am getting a nice fabric and don't have to go to the trouble of finding a bag to wrap it in, drive to the PO and pay for return postage. I'd say that is a very good recommendation for that company.....REAL customer service and they now have a customer for life.

Good to here, Nolee!! I have never used flannel, but aren't there different qualities/types available? The prices certainly reflect it!

Ha ha lady, no it wasn't pink. I got it online at EleanorBurns.com and the flannel was $3.50 a yard, good quality and was really impressed with them. There are still some left as of this morning.

I'm sure it's Hancocks of Paducah. I had a similar experience with them last year - one fabric was backordered, then they sent me the wrong shade. I called them and they said WE'RE SORRY, JUST KEEP IT (3 yds) & we'll ship out the right one to you today. Got it in 2 days. THAT'S what I call GREAT customer service :)

I love her shop!! I got to visit the store front a couple of weeks ago and had a blast. All the young ladies were courting with Eli.

When you donate the quilt, send them the thank you receipt, and if possible have their name put on it as well as yours. Would that work out for you?

Yes, that is an excellent idea. Thanks for thinking of it.
