Ditto all the above reasons to go. Concerning the drive, gets some books on tape or CD, from the library, and listen to some good stories along the way. The drive will go quickly. Caravan with hubby on way home, stopping periodically together, and have fun!

Is it possible that a couple quilt friends would like to go, get a room, and you gals could play during the day? You would still have evenings with hubby and they could do whatever in the evenings. Split car expense with your friends and it would make the trip even more reasonable. I'd sure find a way to try to make the trip.

I say GO . And heres why......
You will always regret the things you wanted to do and didn't....
Someday you will not physically be able to go...
There are many things I kept putting off for silly reasons and now wish I had done.
