Default Paint a Quilt Design on Walls??

Anyone ever paint a quilt design on walls of a room. I don't mean "a" quilt on a wall for a picture but all the walls like wallpaper? Wondering about twelve or eighteen inch long scrappy-look "flying geese" with a pantry door covered with a real flying geese quilt, smaller blocks. Outrageous? Any ideas? (Still not got this pictured in my head. Other patterns? Brainstorming with morning cup of coffee.

Maybe just one wall for accent.....whole room might be overwhelming, unless large room with lots of distractions......jmho

I've it done on floors, especially painted concrete floors and think one focus wall would be really interesting!

Oh that sounds like a lot of fun! One of my quilty friends taped off her living room wall and did different color stripes, some vertical and some horizontal. It's pretty, but the flying geese idea sounds much cuter.

I love quilts, but think this sounds terrible.
