in my book, there is dressed (pj's, street clothes, etc) or undressed--as in NOT dressed or NAKED. I'd say you are fully meeting your husband's "thinking"

I do PJ days almost everyday. Hubby and I are both retired US Navy and S/S also. We love the time together and get to do our hobbies everyday.
    Have a BLESSED day

Yes I do PJ days as well; especially in the winter.

I rarely have pj days. I like being able to stay in my pjs but we have hired some guys to work on our acreage so I have to get dressed. I don't get a break from cooking for myself and my DH. Our mail box is a half mile down the road and my dog and I usually walk to it weather permitting. I've never been one to "go" to the store in my pjs or my slippers, IMHO I think that is tacky. I like to have more pj days.

Since retiring I have at least two PJ days a week. During the snowy winter weather I stayed in my PJ's and dressing gown three or four days a week, ahhhhh, heaven.

I don't plan PJ days but if I'm unfortunate enough to star sewing while I'm having my first cup of coffee, I have been know to not get dressed until after lunch. I say to all my friends that the best part of retirement is that you don't have to jump out of bed and get dressed, curl my hair and put on makeup!!! Fortunately for me, I have a precious DH who doesn't think it's awful to dress in the afternoon. How lucky am I?

This *could* have been one but the cold front took us from near 80 to 45 and I was chilly. So, next best thing - some old cotton exercize pants, big T and fleece vest while the fire gets going.
