Default PAL - Perfect Alingment Laser

Has anyone bought and tried out the PAL - perfect alignment laser? It looks interesting, but I'm not sure what it all does.

Never heard of it. Is it for a long arm?

Haven't heard of the PAL, but have heard of using a laser level square from the hardware store to help align quilt edges. Here's a link to a tutorial on using one to block a quilt:

If it's the same as the PAL, my bet is the same thing will be cheaper at the hardware store. As soon as something becomes specialized for quilting, the price seems to go up!

Edit: Ooops! Looks like auntpiggy is correct. The Youtube video shows it is definitely for embroidery.

Like the others who've responded, I haven't heard of PAL. Unless it's a product for long-arm quilters (which I'm not) I would like to learn more about it!

I use my garage version...it has the option of doing one line or a 'square' intersection...works great...

I just ordered it and it is for exact placement in your embroidery hoop.

I ordered one and it came in yesterday. Have not had a chance to try it out yet.
