Pam Bono Books
Oh my! I read in one of the other threads all about Pam Bono. It rang a bell but when I looked through my stuff, I didn't have anything from her except her Angler 2. So I did a research on her and found a way back machine of her old website. I started to download her free patterns and I was so thrilled to get to know a little about her and her designs. The woman was a quilting genius.
I went to Amazon and found four books in the used section, starting at .03 cents. The one that cost 6.99, came today. It was brand spanking new with a sticker price of 50.25 on the back. "A Quilter's Life in Patchwork". It has got to be one of the best books for techniques and variety yet and so much of it. I love the squirrel and acorn quilt. It is so chuck full of techniques. It also comes with a cd and two sheets of the special June Tailor Clark fabric sheets. I can't believe my luck. I will definitely be doing some of these.
I might just have to make that darling squirrel for a pillow or something, it looks so fun. Now I can't wait to see what the other books have in them. I know one is coming every day...fun fun....will keep you posted.

I searched for her, "A banquet of Quilts" that books sells for anywhere from 200.00 to 900.00 and more. I wonder why. For those of you not familiar with her work, go to the way back machine and type in ...http://pamsclub.com/.. and you can download her free patterns.

PP this is the link for the way back machine. If you were searching for a site that no longer exists, you would type the url in this search and they usually have some pages of that site.

I did not realize that I had several of her books until after I had heard of her passing. One day I was looking at a book and her name popped out at me. I started looking at my other books and found several by her. I must have really liked her designs. Made several of her quilts. A couple are still in process.
