    Default Panel inspiration please.

My brother is a hunter and now has cancer. I bought a panel with4 blocks about 12 in. Each. I would like to make himaquilt but don't have a clue what to do with this panel. The panel is of a buck and two doe. Does anyone have any pictures of what they have done? I looked on pin interest but didn't find much. Any help will be appreciated.

Do you mean you have 4 blocks that are each 12" square?

This is a quilt I made for my son that has a buck and a deer panel in the center but it was bigger than 12", The original pattern was free on a fabric website and I needed it bigger so added more border including the flying geese.
I am sorry to hear about the cancer....prayers.

Who made the panel?? I would check their website to see if they have any free patterns. I was on Fatquarter.com website looking at some of the free patterns list on that site and noticed their were a couple of panel quilt suggestions. Best of Luck. I am sure this quilt will help him thru the tough times ahead.

How about a log cabin using those blocks as the center?.....you could use 3" wide logs and have a decent sized quilt in no time at all....if you want a rectangular quilt....you could use uneven logs to make one side larger.....or maybe flying geese around each block.
Sending positive thoughts your way for successful treatment for your brother.

Using Google, indicate images and type in wildlife quilts and all different types of quilts and ideas will pop up. Also you can use the QB search engine and type in wildlife quilts and several will also come up.
