Default Pantograph size as per block

I'm making the Ballerina Quilt by Jaybird, I will include a picture of the quilt I made awhile ago and am going to make it again. Just including my quilt as reference to block size. Now my question is, I want to use the Drunken Feather pantograph which is a 9" Do you think the pantograph will work for this size block/quilt? http://www.sewthankful.com/Drunken_F...ra_Becker.html
The blocks in the quilt are roughly 18" but are sewin in columns. I'm wanting to use wool batting and it says stitching 4".... will this all work. Thanks In Advance.
Here is the quilt I made awhile ago and want to make again. Meaning the pantograph and using wool batting.

Not quite sure I understand. A panto goes from one side of the quilt to the other and is basically an all-over design. It really does not need to fit inside your blocks, especially as the blocks sort of overlap each other. I looked at the panto and it appears to me that all of the stitching lines are well within 4" of each other, so I wouldn't be concerned about stitching distance for the batting. The panto lines nest within one another, creating the all-over effect.

I just worried the design wasn't large enough to compliment the quilt as the blocks are large...kinda like if one was to use a panto which the design repeated and only measured 4". Oh hum not sure I'm explaining this correct....They or some say to use a fairly lg panto if you blocks are large....I know I could probably find a 12" panto I like but I really like this one...

Could you make a sample block and try the panto to see if it would work? You could make a pillow with the sample to go with the quilt.

If the panto is designed correctly, you shouldn't be seeing rows of quilting. The panto should nest one row to the next, so the only question would be how densely do you want your quilting to be.

In my opinion, I am a LA quilter and use pantos a lot, this particular panto should work well and look good on this style quilt block. It will show as an all over design with no distinction as to where the panto rows begin and end because it is an interlocking panto pattern. Good luck and have fun completing your project, it is a great quilt block.

That will work good with your quilt. I am long arm quilter also. I like that pattern.
