hi justwannaquilt,
I'm back.
just noticed your second question. I looked at clothes fabric and cut out a whole section so I would have each of the dresses, hats, shoes once (maybe a couple a second time) then, I pressed fusible fleece to back of clothes fabric, then cut them out and pressed again as I said in my last answer.
my guess is that because I pressed fusible to back before cutting individual outfits out is part of why some of the clothes didn't fit any of the dolls in the quilt. but I can't imagine doing it any other way. I guess you could rough cut clothes and rough cut fusible, but that sounds like too much work. Of course I did fussy cut clothes that were then not usuable, but I'm thinking of giving them to my granddaughter and we can play another game. "does this dress fit any of the dolls?"
keep us posted.
