I use the cheapest copy machine paper I can find. Don't forget to shorten your stitches.

This is what I do and never had a problem with tearing paper out.

Thanks for the tip. I am going to try them.

I just use scotch tape and tape freezer paper to printer paper. Face down in the copier/printer tray and it comes out just fine. The FP templates can be used many times.
This is the only way I do mine, only instead of scotch tape, I press the bottom edge and the corners (about 1/4 to 1/2") with my iron to the printer paper. I guess it depends on the printer how to make the freezer paper run through smoothly.

Printer paper from Staples...their brand...set your machine to 1.5 stitch length and no problems tearing off.

I use Kids "doodle pad" at Walmart. Your have to cut it down to fit the printer but it tears right off.

I use freezer paper. It goes through my printer without any problem. I use double sided tape to tape it to regular copy paper. When I sew the pieces to it I fold it back to cut the seam allowance and then iron the fabric to the paper. That secures it so I can sew the next piece.

I like newsprint from paper.com. Got an entire bundle of 1000 sheets for under $20 about a year ago.

I like this. It's been a while since I've done paper piecing. I had some copies made and the paper they copied on was super thin. I didn't even know paper came that thin, there way of saving money I'm sure but it would work great for PP.

I've heard of but never searched for/found paper for paper pieceing that is supposed to disolve when it's washed but don't know any details about who makes it or results others have had.
