I made some wall hangings and table runners. Here are a couple.

No one has mentioned something travelers would find useful-a roll up carrier for electronic cords. I made one for both of my daughters a few years ago. I don’t recall where I found the pattern, but it consists of elastic pieces sewn in rows to hold cords for phones, Kindle or other pads, etc. I quilted the outer layer of these & they turned out cute.
I bought a heavier-duty one of nylon to carry in my motorcycle saddlebag for my long trips. It’s always full when I travel. I used to put all cords in a plastic ziplock, which usually got holes from the plug ends. This type of roll up prevents that issue.

Great idea! Perfect gift for my frequent travelers. A quick search and I found a couple of tutorials on YouTube. Links below for others interested.

Oh I just saw this on U Tube - Easy and Fun Snap Bag - Riley Blake designs. It is easy and very cute. The fabric requirements are at the end of the video. I'm making these up for sure - great scrap burner!

That's cute! I went on to her site and found a nice travel pillow pattern that I also like.

I have made some of these pencil cases before, however, I made them to be used as cosmetic bags

    Here's one of them:
