Hi - Just wondered if anyone has purchased any of her dvd's and if they were helpful getting started in FMQ? They are pretty pricey and only come in DVD. It would be nice if she had a cheaper option for automatic downloads.

    Thanks in advance!
    Kim

I did buy one of her DVD'd it but then I have no resistance.
    I think I have Vol2. I skipped Vol1 because I hate feathers.

I haven't bought her dvd's, but I have watched her youtube videos. They are very good. You might want to take a look at those and then decide.

She has quite a few things on youtube including 4 on FMQ the first is at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=39I5A...eature=related she does some lovely stuff. I'd be tempted to watch the 2nd part first because she shows how to spray baste your quilt on your design wall.

If you check out the Quiltshow.com she has a series of videos for beginners, I am pretty sure that they are availbable to everyone, not just paying members. Great info on those videos. Her style is very good and I think she would be a good teacher.

I have not bought any of the DVD's,I do however have her "Feather Adventure" book and at first just looked at all the beautiful pictures, but then....one day started reading her instructions. She is phenominal...her explanations were so easy to understand. Went to my machine, used what I had learned and made some beautiful feathers. She is amazing! I want to collect ALL of her books.
