Teller thank you but in England we don't carry guns and this was getting very confusing.

I am new here, but I joined you in the confusion and was thinking the thread was all about trying to conceal a purse, lol. We are not allowed to carry guns around in Australia either - if we do then we are likely to get arrested and charged with possession of firearms. I would put some smiley face thingies in here, but can't find the button to do it with.

I have seen a carry case that attaches to a bra. I bet one of you ladies could make up a quick pattern. Maybe a strap that goes around the front of the bra and snaps. Then the gun would hang just below your breasts.

My friend used this pattern from Indygo Junction
    http://www.indygojunction.com/patter...rids_grommets/
and just added another layer inside with a zipper down one of the side seams. The piece just goes to the bottom, which she reinforced. Very unnoticable to the unknowing, and even others that "tote" were surprised that it was so concealed. She loved it with a few caveats. Her handles did not hold up, the thick cording came apart multiple times at the joins, so she replaced them with just a flat stitched strap. Also, after some use, one of the grommets came away from the fabric (probably from the weight of her "piece") so her next one would just attach sturdy straps and skip the grommets altogether (they are sorta pricey anyway!)

She has this pattern, waiting to make it, the side pockets are Very roomy!

She suggested www.wholesalepatterns.com as another site to look for your needs.

Watch for a new bag pattern which includes a pocket/holster for concealed carry, on the website, StudioKat Designs (http://www.studiokatdesigns.com/). I think it's going to be called "The Guardian". She's been showing the development of the pattern via her newsletter, and there is a picture on her webpage. Betty

I too was hoping this thread was about a travel money bag, or a tampon case, or for absolutely anything except hiding guns. The whole idea sends shivers down my spine.
