Default Pattern/block suggestions for marble fabrics?

I've been picking up marble fabrics over the last year or so since I saw this pattern (http://quiltwoman.com/Marble-Pools-Quilt-Pattern.aspx) and thought that's what I wanted to make for our new bed quilt. However, the last couple times I've looked at it, I haven't liked it nearly as much as I did before.

So, now I'm in the market for a new pattern or block that will go well with all this marble fabric I've amassed, since I think I'm close to ready to begin. I'd prefer it to be all pieced, little or no applique, something modern or high-tech looking, that works with lots of really bright colors.

    Any suggestions?

I've always liked stars made out of marble fabrics on a solid background.

No, it just doesn't scream I gotta have it anymore. It's not as striking to me as it used to be. I also think it's partly because the fabrics I got are so much brighter than the photo on the pattern page. I have been doing some pretty complicated projects lately though, including a maze throw quilt that I'm doing for a swap here.

I'm really not into paper piecing, probably because I really don't understand it, but there are some pretty ones on there. The bargello quilts were interesting. I'm going to let my boyfriend look and see if there's any on there that jump out at him. I'd have to use the design for the center, then do blocks or stripes or something to widen it out to a king size.

I love this one! It's 48x48, so I'd have to double it in both directions, but with this patter it's doable.
