Very pretty quilt block. I enjoyed the hoya picture. I used to have 1 and it was so pretty. Left it in the care of our dd while we lived out of state and it died. I'd love to have another. I'll have to keep watching for one.

Hoya
I have two different versions of the Hoya. One is just like the pic on here & one has much larger leaves. The one with the larger leaves is about 6 yrs. old & has never bloomed & the other one must be at least 3 yrs. old & has never bloomed. Will you please tell me how you look after yours? I was told they have to be pot bound , before they bloom.

I had a hoya plant for years and it was in a pot in my house. It was always in bloom. The little flowers on mine were always closed and would open up in the evening and that's when they would let off the sweet smell. Where I live you can purchase them at any garden center. They are very easy to look after and only need a little watering.

Yes, it's real. I have 3, taken from a cutting of my mother's plant which has to be at least 30 years old. She always called it a wax plant, the flowers are waxy in texture. They are very easy to propagate and care for, they prefer to be left alone. I LOVE when they bloom because the scent is so sweet.
