I have the following sentimental pieces that I can't figure a good pattern for them. Does anyone have any ideas PLEASE?
    290 - 2"x4" pieces,
    106 - 3"x3" pieces, and
    106 - 2 1/2"x3" pieces

Are the pieces all the same fabric, scrappy, solids, or a mixture?

    If you sew the 3" X 3" piece to the 3" X 2 1/2" piece, they would make a 3" X 5" piece.

If you had three 2" X 4" pieces sewn together, they would make a 4" X 5" piece.

    Then you could sew the two units together to get a 5" X 6 1/2" rectangle (4 1/2" X 6" finished).

Turn the blocks different directions to make a design.

Interesting playing with this. Am wondering if the 'square' blocks were meant for making these blocks, then they may all fit together. Then again, maybe not. Can't think of the block name.

Well, I've had another go , and considered Annettes' idea, and played with EQ7. This is what I came up with. I had Turning Twenty blocks on my mind for days, and if you add another 2" strip to the short side, you should have a block 6.5 x 6.5. And this is what is should look like.

    block and in a quilt
