I think your fabric is yummy! Can't wait to see what you do with the fabrics.

    My immediate impression was bargello!
Look at Ann Lauer's designs, too: www.GrizzlyGulchGallery.com
(I attended a workshop with Ann last spring, and am on my second of three of her patterns I bought.)

Very lovely soothing fabrics. I like the Irish chain idea, or if you want to keep one as a feature fabric how about BQ pattern.

I love those fabrics - no idea the best way to use them though

Beautiful fabrics. I also thought of the Irish Chain using a lighter fabric for the middle of the "chain". Please post pics of what you make!

I don't remember who passed on this idea but I used it the other day. I don't have any of the computerized software that I can play with my fabrics so I tried it. Find a color copier to make a "copy" of each fabric (my scanner and regular color printer did NOT work for this very well) and create a couple squares out of the paper. Color photocopiers aren't perfect with every color but they come really close. You can see what the block will look like before cutting into your fabric.

Look around for a trellis design. Use the bottom two for your big squares. Use the faintly patterned pale yellow and pale green for the trellis pieces. Use the two smaller prints for the smaller squares. Keep the ornage for accent----------more for border or sashing. It's pretty----------just a bit too bright to use in the main body of the quilt.
