I put 'make your own' or diy iron caddy and this is one I found for free

It is just like the one I paid for at my LQS but it was for a mini travel iron.

This is just like the one I made from a pattern I bought at an LQS. The shop pattern included the reflective fabric as well. My was for a standard size iron. I have enjoyed using it, mostly while traveling in our RV.

Another wonderful item to add to my sewing/traveling kit. Will also make a great Christmas gift for another quilter or Secret Sister.

I used this easy casserole carrier for an iron holder and pad. I used double layer of insulbrite and made it the size I needed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFiI5M3-At0 When I take my expensive large iron to class or retreats I use a metal bucket to hold it.

We made this iron caddy in our guild a couple years ago. I use it to take my iron to QOV days and on occasionally to the guild meetings. The guild purchased an iron to use at the meetings so I usually don’t take mine there anymore.
I made the smaller size for travel sized irons but measurements for the larger size were written in on the pattern.
