Hi everyone. I came across a quilting shop while on a weekend away, just had to browse and I found the attached fabric. Think it is incredible and want to make a new quilt for my bed, just don't know what pattern and what alternative fabrics I should put with this. Having a real mind blank on this one. Any advise welcome and appreciated. Thanks. Diane

I'm thinking of a snowball or variation of a snowball pattern where the paisley is the snowball or every other snowball and the background would be a more muted selection of colors from the fabric (or complementary colors). There fabric itself has a lot of movement. I wouldn't want the background blocks to be too busy taking away from the focus fabric.

Thanks Sak658. I might try to find some coordinating fabrics. Might get in touch with the shop I found this from and see if they have any of the others. I do quite like this pattern.

That IS gorgeous and my 3 favorites; grays, teal/turquoise and paisley! I would have a difficult time cutting it up but agree use is in large blocks; like they use the large floral fabrics. Can't wait to see what you come up with.
