    Default pattern search

I saw a quilt last year at a quilt show in Indiana. It was black and white, with small bit of red. The theme was the symbols of the Alaskan or Pacific Northwest native peoples. Any ideas on where I might find patterns for this? Thanks

Have you thought of searching on the internet for online quilt store in Alaska and the northwest?? It might take some time, but those stores would be most likely to have this pattern if it is still available.

Was it a quilt guild show? If it was, check to see if the guild has a website then contact the guild.

If it is the one I am thinking of, it placed in a show. Try looking under the show winners.

Was this the quilt? I took this picture at MQX West in 2012. The quilting on the quilt is fabulous, though it doesn't really show up that much in the picture of the whole quilt. Sorry I don't have any more information on the quilt and don't know if there's a pattern available.

I also saw this quilt at the Vermont Quilt Festival a few years ago. It was amazing and the quilting on it was spectacular. If I remember correctly it was an original design.

Could it be one by Lisa Moore? I saw many of her patterns in Alaska. She does a lot of native Alaskan symbols.

I can't help much but that is a spectacular quilt! There are many books that have pictures of NW Native American totems. Check your library.
