Pattern Suggestions Needed
Hello Everyone!
It's been awhile since I've been around the QB! Not even sure anyone would still remember me...
I want to make a quilt for my niece and have this lovely fabric I bought ages ago and never used (because its too pretty..duh...LOL)
I have a jelly roll and 5 fat quarters in this fabric
Any suggestions for patterns to use? She's 2.5years old
TIA!

When I pick a pattern I let the fabric tell me - so it's hard for me to make a suggestion without seeing the fabric. My first thought was a rail fence with the fat quarters filling in between the rails.

Would love to see the fabric. Is it something you want to leave in large pieces with smaller around it? I'm doing this quilt and fussy cutting the fabric for the (finished) 6-inch squares. With 28 2" strips sewn together into a tube and then cut 2". Here is a photo. My quilt will be larger than this one (~60 x 70). The strips and showing the tube (with my iron holding it up). I am using the white as shown because I love how the blocks appear to be floating.

I just completed a pattern using jelly roll...Free pattern... I don't have a pic of mine but I used the exact opposite of pattern colors...dark floral's, metallic gold and background is cream. Turned out really pretty and this is an easy peezy pattern.......
