    Default pattern supplies question

We will be heading back to Illinois from Tennessee tomorrow and will stop at Hancocks in Paducah. I am planning a paperpieced New York Beauty quilt project. Besides fabric and paper, what other supllies would be handy? I didn't buy anything shopping today, not even when I went to the Coach store in the mall, so I can pretty much get what I want/need.

Maybe a new rotary cutter blade .. I like to have a nice fresh blade when I am taking on a new big project. But the essentials for Paper piecing is the fabric , and paper. Plenty of free version of the New York Beauty block on line. Oh maybe a new ruler, some like the add a 1/4 inch ruler... for paper piecing .. I don"t find it particularly handy but many like it.
Just have a great time at Paducah! Maybe stop at the Quilt in a day store as well , they posted a big sale .

The National Quilt Museum is also in Paducah. If you have a chance to go through it, do so.

What a fun time! I like my clover mini iron and my 28mm rotary cutter for paper piecing.

We go thru Paducah a lot. This is an "on the way home stop." So just a bite to eat n a quick trip to Hancocks. Thanks for the imfo on the ruler. I couldn't remember what it was called.

A poster above suggested a new rotary cutting blade. I agree - I would suggest having several on hand just in case. And I DO love the "Add a Quarter" ruler. I have it 2 different lengths and simply will not paper piece without one of them. Good luck on you NYB.
