Red face Patterns for quick kids charity quilts ?

I would appreciate your sharing with me some simple quick pattern ideas for kids charity quilts. As the cold days have come these quilts are more and more needed.

This one sounds easy, but I don't have a serger. Kaye Woods 6 hour quilt: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sOTV-YSF-48

Google maryquilts. She has a “quick strippy”. Simple to follow and I’ve used it many times for children’s charity quilts.

The first link is my go to pattern, Warm Wishes. The second link lists several quilt patterns.

Checkerboard quilt. Two alternating fabrics to make one quilt. It's both easy and quick.

    http://patchworkplayground.blogspot....-tutorial.html

This pattern shows two strips of alternating fabric. You can make checkerboard quilts as big or as small as you want. It's a classic pattern, never gets old. When I make it, I usually use 6 inch strips of fabric. Why? Because 6 inch strips are easy to cut with my 6" x 24" inch ruler.

    Add borders if you'd like.

I don't have any one pattern I use. I make 30-35 quilts per year and do all different patterns.

The fastest I have done is to buy a remnant of a child print, cut the sides off to make a nice size and sew appropriate colored borders on sides, top and bottom, sandwich it up, quilt and it's done.

These quilts go to kids in the foster program in my county.

The Downy Quilt For Kids I was sent was a 4 patch alternating with a square of child print fabric. The squares were at least 6". Strip piecing the four patch made it a quick quilt.

The strip quilts are very quick!! Love those. Also this simple 6 1/2" squares, alternating with focus fabric. A 1 1/2" inner border then a 3 1/2 or 4" outer border. Super fast to put together. I usually cut enough for 2 quilts at a time.
